Exterior Painting
Brownstones, rowhouses, brick facades, and wood siding — protected and beautiful.
NYC exteriors deal with more than paint — freeze-thaw cycles, humidity, salt air near the water, and years of layered old paint. We do the prep work that most painters skip: power washing, scraping loose paint, spot-priming bare wood, and sealing cracks before we touch a brush.
We use weather-resistant exterior paints — Benjamin Moore Aura Exterior and Sherwin-Williams Emerald are our go-to lines. Both hold their color and resist mildew better than cheaper alternatives, which matters when a paint job needs to last 7–10 years on a Brooklyn rowhouse.
NYC has a lot of brownstone, brick, stucco, and wood. Each surface needs a different approach. We assess the substrate before quoting so there are no surprises mid-job.
Remove dirt, mildew, and chalking paint so the new coat bonds properly.
Remove peeling paint down to a stable surface. Feather edges so nothing looks patchy.
Bare wood and masonry get primed. Stain-blocking primer where there's rust or water damage.
Two coats of finish paint. Caulk all joints and gaps before the final coat.
Every surface outside your building, handled properly.
Single-family homes, rowhouses, and two-family buildings. Full exterior repaints including siding, trim, shutters, and doors.
Multi-story apartment buildings, mixed-use buildings, and commercial facades. We work with scaffolding and lifts for taller jobs.
Wood decks and fences cleaned, stripped if needed, and stained or painted. Solid stains and semi-transparent options available.
Stucco, brick, and concrete block painted with elastomeric or masonry coatings. We fill cracks and seal before painting to prevent moisture intrusion.
Standalone pressure washing for buildings, driveways, and walkways. Also available as prep before any exterior paint job.
Brownstone is porous and chips. We use specialty masonry primers and paints designed for brownstone facades that breathe and expand with temperature.
"Our rowhouse exterior was overdue — peeling paint, some wood rot on the window frames. They found the rot, flagged it before starting, replaced the damaged wood, then primed and painted. The house looks like it did 20 years ago. Very thorough."
"We have a stucco building in Queens. Previous painter just rolled paint over the cracks and it peeled within a year. C Painting Services filled everything properly, used the right masonry primer, and it's held up through two winters now."
We paint exteriors in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island.
